MY TOWN

Figueres is a small city, capital of comarca of Alt Empordà, it’s a good city to stay some days, the weather is good and there are some things to see and do. As it’s a small city, you can go to place walking, also there is a good public transport to take.

I recommend visiting two buildings in Figueres, the Dali’s museum and the Sant Ferran Castle. There are different kinds of museums but the most important is Dali’s museum. Dali was a surrealist painter of the 20th century

The Sant Ferran Castle is a large military fortress built in the eighteenth century. It’s the fortress bigger than Europe.

To enjoy, the center of the city it’s a good place for shopping, there are a lot of shops and outside the centre there is an area where there are the cinemas, bowling and some pubs to drink and dance.

Figueres is near the village with beach like Llança, Empuriabrava, Roses or Cadaqués.

Cadaqués is a beautiful town, all the houses are white and the windows frames and doors are blues. In the past, it was a town of fisherman, if you stay some days in Alt Empordà, you have to visit this town.
