The women who say they are allergic to modern life: Blinding headaches. Violent sickness. Even blackouts. So could wi-fi, mobile phones and TV screens be to blame?

This news talks about women who think that too much technology- computers, mobiles etc have made the to be ill. One woman had very bad head pain, another believes she did not get pregnant because of radiation.  In The United Kingdom EHS ( electro hypersensitivity ) is not proved, but in Sweden they think it is true.

In my opinion, possibly it I true that radiation from technology can effect us. Now we have a lot of time with computers, mobiles, and other things. I know computers can make problems for our eyes, so possibly they can make other problems too.

The emotional moment hero teacher who broke her spine shielding children from tornado saw them perform on stage

This news explains about a teacher who saved the children she was teaching on May the 20^th when a tornado came to Oklahoma. The tornado destroyed the school but she protected the children. She got a lot of injuries but she went to a concert that the children did . A concert to remember the people who died in the tornado

I think this is incredible. Jennifer the teacher was very brave to protect the little children she was teaching. Jennifer and the children were in the destroyed building for hours before they were rescued. It was a frightening experience, but she was a great teacher and protected her class.

Tania:  What is she doing here? Jamie.

Jamie:  I don't know...

Polly:  Well, I better go away.

Tania:  No, no, no, come in and explain what is happening here.

Jamie:  No, she doesn't have anithing to say.

Polly:  ( goes away)

Tania:  (She cant believe what has just happened) can she? 

Jamie:  I didn't want you to learn about it this way.

Tania:  This is over, Jamie, I can't stand it any more.

Jamie:  Sorry, Tania...

Tania:  (cries) Why?

Jamie:  Because I was drunk and I didn't know what I was doing.

Tania:  This is not a good excuse If i were drunk I wouln't kiss another boy, I can't understand you... This is a real shit, I think that I can't continue with this, every ween it's the same, and now, with this '' bich'' Polly.

Oral presentation

Self evaluation.

Presentation:

In my oral presentation I used: power point, video, images and sounds.

- All the resources were focused on the topic and the resources supported their oral explanation.

- My oral presentation lasted betwen 6-10 minutes.

Body language:

 I believe that I looked at the audience. Occasionally looked at some numbers on the power point.

- I did some gestures and movement to hold the attention of the audience.

Structure: 

- Personally, I think I introduced the topic to get the audience attention and I used some questions in the video.

- I did not organize my ideas in order of importance because as for as I'm concerned all the information was important.

- I used discource markers to help the audience follow along. Exemple: First, then etc.

- In my conclusion I offered a solution.

Content: 

- I  a certain extent I introduced now information to the audience.

- The information quite detailed and extensive and the facts supported by statics.

- I gave examples and the overall message was clear.

Language:

- In my opinion the grammar was correct, but could have been more complex.

- The vocabulary was varied but I think that I could have used more phrasel verbs.

- I used sentence connectors and fillars.

Intonation:

Personally I think the audience could understand me and I changed the tone of my voice and I also spoke fluently.

Evaluation:

 In my view I think that I deserved 8 or 8,5 points, because I worked a lot an the presentation and video.

Plans of summer 

I remember the sumers that I had 3 months of relax.

Every day, the beach, the swimming pool, friends and parties. Everything changed when I was 16. Now every summer I have to work. At the moment I don't know exactly what I will do . First I want to apply for a job in a supermarket (hiperplaca), however If I am not luckly I can work with mi father.

My father has a painting business. I always work with my uncle. The work is hard, moving furniture, preparing the walls etc. There is a lot of work before we can paint. Must houses are in bad condicions.

Painting is not as easy as people think.

There are long days with hot temperatures and a lot of dust.

                                          

The witches of Pendel.

This book takes place in 1634 in the village called Pendel.

The main characters are: Elizabet ( Mother), Old Demdlike ( Granmother), Alizon (sister) and James (brother).

Jannet hates her family and with the help of Roger Nowell from Read Hall she gets all her family convicted of being witches and they are all hung.

When all her family are dead Jannet goes to live with Roger Nowell and works for him. Whenhe dies he can not protect her anymore and because her surname is Device.

The people start to invent stories that she is a witch.

All her family were witches, but Jannet was not. However the story invented by people and she would die in prision.

In my opinion this book is very funny and easy to read because the vocabulary is simple.  
The book is very entertaining because it speaks of Witches and how they want to kill.

Swansea measles: Epidemic tops 1000                         cases

The city of Swansea in Wales has an Epidemic of the illnnes measles, now 1000 people have measles. Before the people of Public Health Wales are trying to vaccinate all tge childrens between 10 and 18 but  they are missing more a less 5000 children.

The goverment are asking all parents to take there children to the doctor for the vaccionation MMR.

I believe that it was a mistake for parents, who didn't take the small children for this vaccination. I know that before there was a rumer that this vaccination could provoke  health problems, but this was never proven and measles can kill.
